change iCloud on used device

hi, I was gifted a used iMac (idk what variant) but I’m still logged in to his Apple ID and I don’t know how to change it to mine. is there any way I can do this? I’ve tried to find a way to add myself as a profile but I don’t know how. any assistance would be appreciated
