Apple Watch 6 died during alarm play on low power mode and has never restarted
My watch has performed well since I bought it new. No issues until I did something unusual- went to bed with it on lower power mode (I've probably only put it in low power mode 5 times since new). An alarm went off at 4 am and the alarm apparently played until the phone died. It has never restarted since.
I have tried to recharge it via different methods- even took it to the apple store and unfortunately the rep went to lunch and I really didn't understand what she was going to do; but she was going to use a couple of different adaptors to try and revive it.
It did have some history I can see on my phone of being "found" while charging- but it has never turned on other than to show different states of the charging screen. Most recently- I charged it on a USB charger (original USB-A cord), it has never come on, when I switched the charging cable to my Mac- it restarted, showed the Apple symbol- then died and became warm to the touch while charging. I pressed some buttons and now it is on the charger symbol with a red bolt in the center.
I have read of some tips and tricks to revive these watches; but this is so strange. Just wanted to ask the community if they had any before I threw it away/recycled it.
