Watch purchased movies

I have bought thousands of dollars worth of movies over the years thru iTunes Store that I only watched on my computer, how can I watch them on my television ? Is there a way to copy them onto a disc to use my Blu-ray player? I would prefer to make a copy if possible it would just be easier for me now that I've become a disabled senior! On that note enjoy your youth....because getting old and your body just decides to up and take a dump on you -it's living ****- thanks guys!~

No you cannot copy them, the movies do not belong to you, you only purchased the ability to view the movies. It's just like going to a movie theater, you buy a ticket to view a movie, buying a ticket does not make you an owner of the movie.

However if you purchase an Apple TV box and connect it to your TV then you should be able to watch the movies assuming their license has not expired.

If you are not familiar with Apple TV boxes please click Apple TV 4K - Apple. Sometimes they are also available from Apple's refurbished store for a discount, go to www.apple.com and scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Refurbished Store and see if they are in-stock. They sell quickly so. you may have to check often.

You cannot copy the movies to a disc. The are copyright protected and breaking that protection to make copies is illegal.

If you have a smart TV or streaming device connected to the TV, you can use the Apple TV app on it (if supported) to watch your purchased movies on the TV by logging in with the Apple ID used to purchase them.
