Several movies that I have purchased do not show up in my apple TV movies library. How do we find them?

Pretty self explanatory.  There are several movies i purchased a couple years ago that are not showing up in my library.  

I know i purchased them with the same account.   However, when i look for them on itunes (well the appletv search app now), it shows that I purchased them and can play them directly from there.   But when I go look in my movie library, they dont exist.  At all. 

It does this everywhere - iphone / ipad / appletv, etc.

How do we fix this?
