Outlook accounts keep disconnecting from Apple Mail
I have 2 outlook mail accounts connected to my Apple Mail apps on several devices. They're my primary emails and have worked fine for years. The past few weeks, though, they just won't stay connected on my MacBook. They log out multiple times a day.
I go through the process of logging in, but my password is rejected every time (pictured below). I am typing in the correct username and password. Always.
I've gone directly to Settings > Internet Accounts and tried logging in that way. My credentials are also rejected there.
I have deleted the accounts and added them back on. They're accepted and connect, but get logged out again later that day or the next.
After playing around for 10 minutes or so, the accounts randomly connect. I don't know why or how, but that's way too long to spend trying to access email.
I'm using a 2020 M1 MacBook Air. Yesterday I updated from Sonoma 14.5 to Sonoma 14.6 in the hopes that would help, but it's the same story today.
I've used these same 2 outlook email accounts through Apple Mail for almost a decade. Microsoft support says to use the Outlook app, but I love the setup I've used for all these years. I don't want to change it. I know I could also just go to Outlook.com, but they have ads, and... I guess I'm just kind of stubborn and want to make it work the way I like.
