Hi everyone, I have an iPad Mini 4 and I was wondering if anyone knew the value? Apple trade in says 50$ but I feel like I could get more for it. It works good, no damage to the screen and back. There is though an engraving of the previous persons name on the back, would that affect the value? I want to upgrade to a newer iPad and would like it if my old iPad would help cover the cost a little more of the new one 😅

Engraving can indeed reduce the value of an iPad within the secondary market. Would you want to buy a previously used device that has someone else's name engraved on the casing?
Also consider that the iPad mini4 doesn't support iPadOS 16 or later - iPadOS 17 being current . As the mini4 can only be updated to iPadOS 15.8.x, an increasing number of Apps will cease to be compatible - making the iPad considerably less useful.
All things considered, a $50 trade-in might be a good offer.
