Gmail not sending emails on iDevices

I'm having a similar probllem with only one of my 4 gmail accounts. "gmail support" isn't a thing unless you pay for GoogleOne and even after purchasing a subscription they aren't much help. On the third try I was told that there is a known issue prevent gmail from sending through non-google apps. No ETA on the issue but they are "working on it." He said that there won't be any type of announcement posted and told me to periodically delate the account from Outlook or Apple mail and re-add it to see if things are working. :(
