Can I still use my iPod nano with the current version of iTunes and Apple Music?

I have an older ipod nano. Can I still use it to download and sync with my version of itunes and apple music or will I lose all my songs on my ipod nano

Since I have added my phone and apple music, can I still sync my new music with my old ipod. If I connect it to my computer and itunes will I lose all the music I have on it now

Yes, you can still sync it with the current versions of iTunes or Apple Music.

You would only lose the music on your iPod Nano, if it does not exist in library in iTunes or the Apple Music app currently.

If it does not, you should extract it from the iPod Nano, before you sync.

You won't be able to sync music from the Apple Music subscription service to your iPod Nano however.
