I’ve been waiting for 5 years to use my email address for a new Apple ID. I’m wondering if Apple has any published policy on how long they keep an email address on record before it can be reused. Specifically, after an email address is removed from their records, how long does it take before you can create a new Apple ID with that same email?

You cannot reuse an email address once your Apple ID associated with that is deleted. This is most likely a safety purpose, as your account details and the data associated with your Apple ID are permanently deleted from Apple’s servers.
