Apple TV sold, and new owner potential using our Netflix account

I sold our Apple TV console a few months ago, and since then Netflix keeps telling us that there are too many users watching, and when they list the films we're watching, they don't match up with us.

I'm sure I reset the console to factory settings and logged out correctly, but may be mistaken.

The Apple TV no longer shows up in my list of devises under my Apple ID.

Is there anything I can do to check if the Apple TV console is still using our previous Netflix account?

Your Apple ID and your Netflix login are separate and unrelated.

Logging out of your Apple ID from the Apple TV will not log you out of the Netflix account in the Netflix app.

If you did indeed reset the Apple TV to factory settings it should have removed the Netflix app and with it your account.

If you did not erase it, then you left the Netflix account logged in and yes its very possible the new owner may be using it.

You can sign out of Netflix devices using the following link: https://www.netflix.com/manageaccountaccess
