Why is the cellular signal weak when at home on my iPhone 14 Plus?

Hi there,

I have a bit of an issue that I don't know how to solve!

My son had an iPhone 11 with a 3 sim only plan. Worked fine at home and outside.

Decided to get him a new 14 plus on ID mobile. The sim whento his sister and he inserted his 3 mobile sim.

Now the signal on the 14 plus is terrible. He can hardly browse anything. It works fine away from the house.l, but not at home

Not sure what to do as we've only had the phone for 3 weeks but it's seems useless.

How far away from the house? Standing out in the yard, or miles away?

Does he have any sort of signal strength app installed? I have one on my Android phone to find a decent signal in our local grocery store. (Hint, there's a good place just past the cashiers, and another near the baked goods section. It's that spotty.)
