Can’t log out of Find My

I got a new MacBook, and I’ve already transferred everything from my old one to my new one. So, I want to factory reset my old one. In order to do this, you are prompted to log out of several applications. I can successfully log out of iCloud, but when asked to sign out of Find My, it asks me to “sign out of the Apple ID for _______.” I changed my Apple ID to a different email a while back, so the one I’m asked to sign out of for Find My no longer exists. I’ve tried the password for my current Apple ID, and the one for my old one, but every attempt tells me “you’ve entered your information incorrectly.” How do I log out of an Apple ID that no longer exists?
