Visual Voicemail is currently unavailable

I have been using visual voicemail for a while, but last week I received a message stating that visual voicemail is currently unavailable. I do not have a voicemail plan with my carrier, but Apple's built-in visual voicemail was working fine. How can I fix this issue?

You need to be provisioned by your phone carrier in order to use visual voicemail, it has always been that way. Report the issue to your phone carrier.

You need to be provisioned by your phone carrier in order to use visual voicemail, it has always been that way. Report the issue to your phone carrier.
