Have you tried a different plug, or use the original one Apple provided you with the purchase of your Mac?

Go Here: If your Mac doesn't Turn On or Start Up - Apple Support
Using External Devices: Try Resetting the SMC and NVRAM, but this time, using an external keyboard. Connect an external monitor and see if you get an output.

Is it broken? Like, used for a long time and it look, well normal?
look at the metallic part. If its looks loose? Or in a wrong angle? It might sound stupid. But when it happend to me, the ”metallic” part was ”falling” off. Try the basic! Maybe its just that simpel? Best of luck!!
I have found that when you initially plug the cable into your MacBook, the charging is on hold. 🔌🛑
The solution is to simply unplug it, then plug it back in again and the charging will begin. 🔌⚡️🔋
