Macbook not charging

When i plugged my macbook in it chargers for a second and then dosent charge and it repeats itself and i am confused on what to do.

MacBook Air, macOS 14.3

Why is my MacBook Pro not charging with a cable? OS 13.6.7. Is there ever a reason why, even with power cable connected, a Macbook Pro would not be charging or connected to power?
