save a limited number of pages

I want to save just about four pages iof a very long document. How should I proceed please

iMac 27″ 5K, macOS 13.6

Pages save operations involve the whole document. Anything you have already written has been autosaved, including those four pages, provided the document has been manually saved once.


Open a new Pages document with or without thumbnails enabled. In your large document, select the first of those four pages, then copy and paste its body text into the first page of the new document. Introduce a page break, and then repeat that process with the remaining three pages. Save that new Pages document.
