Kernel Panic Apple Macbook Pro M1 2016
Hello,
In July 2022 I bought a new Apple Macbook Pro M1 on 16 inches.
By the end of July 2024, one week after my warranty expired, I got a screen glitching on my macbook, and after a while the screen went black. The computer wouldn't turn on.
After taking it to an Authorised service (in my country we don't have an Apple store), they told me that the screen is burned due to a hit or force and the warranty would not cover me in any case. After explaining how the situation started, they assured me that it could only be a hit or a mechanic violence on the screen (something that never happened-the mac is in a case since day one and I barely move it). In the end I paid almost 1000 euros to change the screen cause there was no other solution. Coming back home the computer shut down and after rebooting multiple times (the bar on the apple logo kept turning on and off), it gave me the options of recovery and start up from disk. after start up I got kernel panic messages and the problem kept going on. Note that the brightness of the screen is not steady while rebooting.
Took the computer back to the service team and they said that the macbook passes all the diagnostic tests of software and hardware without a single problem. After taking it back home of course the problem persists. Made a phone call to the central service of Apple and they advised me to update to Sonoma (I was still in Ventura). After downloading the new software version the computer restarts and enters again in the same loop: multiple reboots-start up disk-kernel panic. Tried to upgrade through an external USB disk with no help. Now, the service team supports that I need to change my motherboard.
I add the kernel panic as follows.
I would be happy for any help that I can get, since I just completed a month without a proper functioning computer.
MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 13.6
