Try to startup in Safe mode, then normal boot could solve your "issue".

Use safe mode on your Mac – Apple Support (AU)

First three guesses would be a failing hard drive, or a bad GPU, or possibly an LCD failure. The first two are the most likely.

Troubleshooting a White Mac Screen:

A. Connect to an External Monitor:

If the screen is white, find an external monitor to plug it in to. IF you do't have an HDMI cable, then you need this adapter: USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter - Apple

B. Mirror the Screen to this External Display:

Performing the following will mirror the Home Screen, and allow you to use it as if it were you were using your laptop's own screen.

• Without Touchbar: Hold Down [command + F1]
• With Touchbar: Hold Down: [command + dull screen]
