How to upscale resolution in QuickTime (using iPhone as a continuity camera)

Hello,

I am recording videos of myself talking via QuickTime. I use my iPhone 13 as an external camera, and I record the video on my Mac mini. Up until today, I always recorded videos in 4K or FHD, but today the resolution dropped to 720p and I have no idea why or how to change it back. I double checked my monitor (it's set to FHD) and my iPhone (set to record in 4K). Have you got any ideas?

Video quality converts Hi! So I currently have an iPhone 12 and I'm filming videos in 4K. However, whenever I set these videos over to my computer and put them in iMovie, iMovie automatically converts it to 720p. I have tried all kinds of things to fix it, all kinds of camera settings etc. but it just won't help. It keeps messing up my video quality which on my phone looks fine but on iMovie looks terrible (pixel like almost). Anyone know how to solve this?

Lowered Bitrate after editing Video on iPhone (12 mini) Hey guys, let's say I recorded a 4K 30FPS video on my iPhone 12 mini. File size according to iOS: 150MB If I save it to iCloud via the Files App, it actually is 150MB. Now I edit the Video in the iOS Photos app. Let's say I just increase the Brightness by 1. If I now save the edited Video to iCloud, the file size is now 50MB. The original video has a birate of 40Mbps. The edited video has a bitrate of 13 Mbps. Hence the lowered file size. Problem is, that it significantly reduced the video quality. Why does that happen and how do I get a "full" bitrate version of the edited Video? Any help is appreciated.

Exported iMovie video lower quality than original iMovie format On my iPhone when I export the iMovie.mobile video to .mov format it is much lower quality resolution and one quarter the file size of the iMovie.mobile file. How can I get a higher resolution on export to standardized, cross-platform video format?
