Keyboard connected via USB Hub freeze after a while

Macbook M2 2022, 8GB, Sonoma 14.6.1

I have a Anker USB Hub which has a mouse, keyboard, camera plugged in and connected to the Macbook. Everything works fine, but after about 2-3 hours, only the keyboard freezes and doesnt respond - mouse continues to work. The USB hub is a bit warm at this point. Plugging it out and plugging back in makes it work again.

The same keyboard and USB hub have no problem on a Windows laptop. I think this is a Mac chipset issue, similar to the one reported here - https://www.reddit.com/r/mac/comments/gp5b1z/usb_20_issues_on_new_macbook_pro_13_2020/ - that issue was fixed but maybe not completely.

Please help with suggestions to debug this. Thank you!
