How do I stop deleted Emails from returning on my iPad?

Despite my iPad being up to date, my deleted gmails keep coming back, into a folder called important, which I never created and can’t delete. How do I get rid of them for good. It thousands of emails!

Try using a computer to log into Gmail, via a Browser, and then delete the emails you no longer want from there.

Be sure to Empty the Trash bin after marking them for Deletion.

That should solve your problem.


That being said, you might want to first see if you can Empty the Trash bin on the email program

that you are using on your iPad.
