How can I transfer the eSIM from my iPad to my iPhone?

Transferring an eSIM from your iPad to iPhone may not be possible. While eSIM transfers between compatible iPad models is technically possible - as is eSIM transfer between iPhones - transfer between dissimilar devices may not be supported. While recent iPad and iPhone devices support eSIM technology, the SIM (and associated Cellular account) will be provisioned by the Cellular Carrier differently.

The majority of mobile phone SIMs (either physical or eSIM) are not usable with iPad. Similarly, as iPad has no ability to access Cellular calling or SMS/MMS text features, an iPad uses a DataSIM that is restricted to IP-Data.
