I cannot activate the eSIM on my iPhone 11 Pro Max

There are two possible reasons why you don't see an option to add eSIM

1) Your carrier does not offer eSIM connection options

2) Your phone was manufactured for use in Hong Kong and the China mainland......where carriers do not use eSIM, so the phone is SIM only.
