How to protect iPhone from Heat Damage?

Did anyone have phone sitting in hot car and back glass spider cracked?

the phone was in a case

was not dropped.

While I have not seen here where the back glass cracks due to heat, there is significant damage to your phone that can occur if left in a car that is over 113 degrees F. Apple clearly states to not leave the phone in a car where the temperature could exceed that limit. It is expected to shorten your battery life.

Store your device where the temperature is between -20º and 45º C (-4º to 113º F). Don’t leave your device in your car, because temperatures in parked cars can exceed this range.
