I'm trying to import songs from a CD using an Apple Superdrive that I've used many times over the years, but that I haven't used recently. When I plug the CD into the slot, it pulls in, but the Superdrive isn't recognized on my iMac. I'm using IOS Monterey, 12.7.4. I checked the preferences, tried different USB slots, and rebooted my iMac, but nothing works. Any suggestions?

Well, this is embarrassing, but I'll put this here in case there are other technically challenged people out there. I had my cd reader upside down so I was putting the cd in upside down. There was nothing wrong with the drive or my computer. 🫢
