Can connecting my iPhone to a laptop compromise its security?

Can Iphone be easily compromised when connected to the laptop guys? I know that whenever an Iphone plug in a laptop through USB cable, there’s a box show up and ask if we allow the computer to access our files or not. But if I allow to trust the computer, will it easily to embedded malware files into my phone beside access my photos and videos in the phone? There’s a file showing “InternalStorage” when I allow to trust the computer, but the question to be clarified is that can someone hack my phone by putting the malware or spy apps in that file and then that app installed in my phone? I need someone who is really understanding and can answer it thoroughly. Help me out guys

Adding Malware or Spyware would only be possible if he did Jailbreak it. Although 10 minutes is not much time to complete that process, it may be possible. With the Password, he could install any apps on your phone and not even need the laptop. Some apps such as Life360 are used by family member to keep track of their locations. It is a legitimate app, but can be used for nefarious purposes if you give your phone to someone else and also give them your password.

A Factory Reset will remove any Jailbreak along with anything that could have been installed on a jailbroken phone. Without a jailbroken phone you do not have spyware or malware. When reviewing apps, make sure you do that from the App Library by swiping all the way to the left. View the apps in alphabetical order by swiping down on the screen once you get there. You can have apps in the App Library that do not appear on your Home Screens.

I have checked several times if any suspicious apps appeared on my phone but i didn’t. I’m really confused and think that maybe he could install spyware which can easily get control and watch all of my activity I do when using my phone (even accessing the camera and microphone without signs). Is there any ways to check if that spyware can run underground that I didnt found earlier? And if I reset my phone to factory settings, will all the spy and malware disappear? Sr If my paranoid annoys you 😭

My phone hasn’t jailbreak yet, is there any chance if he did something with my phone? Like I have asked. Can he put some malware or spy app to my phone by just knowing my password? Pls I need advice
