Should I turn off my Apple Watch while I am away?

Going on vacation without my iWatch, do I leave it on the charger or just let the battery run out? thanks

Chances are, as soon as you put it on the charger, it will power up all by itself.

And a week powered off at any charge level above 40% is not going to be an issue. Or sitting on the charger for a week should not be an issue either.

However, if it is going to be months, the the ideal is powered off, with the battery between 60% and 80%
