Accents and acute/grave/etc character numbers keep on changing on macbook keyboard!
I have a macbook with an international keyboard, but I am Spanish. I mostly write in English but sometimes I need to write in Spanish and use the accents and acute characters. For that, I long-press the character (example, "a") and then the right number.
These numbers didn't change for a long time so I memorized them.
Then, recently, they changed (without me changing ANYTHING from my keyboard layout or input sources), and all the Spanish ones (á, é, ..., ñ) etc moved to the first position.
That was kind of a bother, as I had memorized the previous positions, but I though "Ok, if all the á... etc are on number 1 now, it's easy to remember it), so I started writing and memorizing those positions.
And a couple of days ago I found out they have changed again!!!! Now the first one is the grave accent!
This is really annoying and I am not willing to memorize the ever-changing positions of these characters.
Is there a way to define them or, alternatively, ask Apple to kindly stop messing around with my keyboard?
Thank you
