Android videos won’t play on apple iPhone 15 pro

using current is 17.6.1, but same issue on previous version. Videos from ANY android phone I have tested with will not play. I can hear the sound if I ‘edit’ the video , but no picture. Previous iOS showed a blurred image in photo list, but today since update there is no image at all.same on 2 friends iPhones

Not all video formats are compatible with iOS devices.
