Apple Watch hidden cellular charges

So I’ve had a titanium Apple Watch with gps/cellular that I paid around 600 for through Verizon. It was only suppose to be $10 a month, but when I disconnected my bill dropped $52. I want another Apple Watch, but I never to answer calls or send text messages. The only thing I ever used it for was keeping track of my motion, HR etc. is it possible to have a new Apple Watch and not connect it to cellular but still be able to use it to keep up GPS wise with your steps and heart rate, etc. with it Bluetoothed to your cell phone? Because I’m not paying $50 a month for it through Verizon.

A GPS only Apple Watch (or a cellular that is not activated), will do everything an activated cellular model will do, AS LONG AS, your iPhone is nearby. Nearby, is generally in the same moderate sized wood frame constructed home.

The Apple Watch will collect exercise data while away from the iPhone, and when you get back, it will sync the exercise data to the iPhone.

I’ve been using a GPS only model for 6 years, and I never missed having cellular in my Apple Watch.
