iPhone 14 goes to silent mode at any given time all on its own. I have tried every suggestion possible, and nothing works. Also, the phone only rings two and half rings before it goes to voicemail. Unless I have the phone on me, I usually can’t answer in time. Why pay money for something that doesn’t work properly?

Your phone may continue ringing but silently, ultimately to go to voicemail.
check setting Phone/Calls on other Devices and turn off.
This feature may have forced the call to have gone to your Watch, iPad or Mac.

Yeah, I had to do that for my land line, to change it from 4 rings to 8 rings. For some reason they didn't make it something you could do when you log into their website. I had to start a tech support chat session.
