COmplaint Apple regarding Locked iPhone and Apple ID

My Phone is locked as I attempted wrong pass code multiple times, My Apple id is also locked and Apple needs 6 days to send the recovery instructions back to me. All my official authentication apps and other important documents/ applications are on phone that i am unable to use for 6 days. Can someone explain what Apple will do for 6 days as a part of the recovery process.

Nobody on these forums works for Apple, and Apple does not share this information with us. All we know is it takes time.

How to use account recovery when you can’t reset your Apple ID password - Apple Support

- "If you use two-factor authentication and can’t sign in or reset your password, you can regain access after an account recovery waiting period."

Note that your phone uses a passcode, not a password (unless you choose an alphanumeric code, but using the term "password" means it can be easily confused with an Apple ID password which is something else altogether).

As for your account, if you can still sign into your account on another device you can investigate adding more ways to get a code such as multiple telephone numbers where you can receive a text or a phone call. The below is based on the section "About trusted phone numbers and trusted devices" in the article Two-factor authentication for Apple ID - Apple Support

To see, add, or change your trusted phone numbers use one of these methods:

● On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: Go to Settings > your name > Password & Security. Next to Trusted Phone Number, tap Edit.

● On a Mac computer choose Apple menu  > System Settings (or System Preferences), then click your name (or Apple ID). Click Password & Security, then add or remove a trusted phone number.

● Using a web browser:

1) Go to https://appleid.apple.com and sign in.

2) Follow security options until you find one letting you change trusted numbers,

3) Click "+" to add a new number (you may be required to verify this number).

4) If you wish to remove an old number, click "-" next to the number.

Apple has this process in place to keep their devices secure, especially if the device is lost or stolen. In the future once your iPhone is unlocked, it may be helpful for you to write that password down and store it in a secure place in your home. Some people I know use their street address for a passcode or an old phone number. Or a parent's birthday.
