iPhone 14 Pro screen not responding to touch after software update

I bought this phone from Facebook Marketplace, it was in excellent condition and everything was working fine. A few days later I had a notification for a software update, After ive updated my phone I realized that every time I open up the camera app it would start to lag very bad then after a few seconds later it would stop lagging. A few days after that my camera started to lag to again and then it froze, I pressed the side button and it took me to my lockscreen but literally after that the phone wouldn't respond to my touch. I did everything I could even a hard reset and still the touch wasn't working at all. I even restored my phone and STILL the touchscreen wouldn't respond to my touch. Just yesterday the charge ran out, and after I plugged my phone to charger the phone turned on and this time my touch screen was finally working but then an hour later it stopped working again and not respond to my touch!! Can anyone please tell me what's going on? What do I have to do? I dont have apple care or insurance because I bought this phone from someone else, and it was working amazing. Just after that update it just started to lag and eventually the screen isn't responding to my touch

(1) Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

(2)  If the above does not work then - 1) Double check to ensure that you have ample free storage space available on your iPhone. Open Settings ➡️ General ➡️ About ➡️ Available: Here you will see the available storage space on your iPhone. You should maintain at least 15GB or more free storage space for the iPhone’s efficient operation.

OR

3) You may have a poor battery condition which cannot provide sufficient power for peak performance. What is the Battery Health of your iPhone? Open Settings ➡️ Battery ➡️ Battery Health and let us know which percentage you see for Maximum Capacity. Also note what is written under Peak Performance. If your battery's Maximum Capacity shows a value of 80% or less, then it has gone through its lifecycle and therefore should be replaced, according to Apple.

4)  If none of the above helps, then contact 👉 Official Apple Support OR you can always get your iPhone examined at the Apple Store 👉 Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options or at an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and evaluation.
