I removed my air tag from my phone. To sink it to my wife’s. But her phone won’t pick it up. I tried to sink it back to my phone but it now won’t pick it up. I have tried changing the battery in it but still nothing. It still makes all the tones but just won’t connect.

Do you both have your own Apple IDs? If so, you will first need to unpair this AirTag from your Apple ID, before she can pair it to hers.
