Typically, iPhone batteries will lose 1%-2% a month under what is considered "normal use". With that said, there are many variables that impact battery health such as usage, charge cycles on the battery, and the environment you live in.
Sometimes the number displayed in battery health will not update for some time and then out of nowhere you'll lose a few percent all at once. This can be due to the way the battery calibrates itself.
A drop from 99% to 96% while on the higher end of degradation, would be considered normal.
