How can I watch my iPad movie purchases on Apple TV?

I purchased a movie on my IPad, and it appears in thside menu under purchases. How can I watch it on AppleTVplus on a smart TV? My sharing subscription status is on in the app on tv. I am logged in but thevside menu does not show prchases

I am watching Appletv+ on a Samsung Smart TV.

I turned on subscription sharing option in the app on the tv that says it will allow purchased content, refreshed my log in, and cannot find the movie by searching. Purchases are not included on the menu bar on the tv app as they are on the iPad.

Please take a precise look, if your smart TV has the Apple TV app (without the Plus in the name) or the Apple TV+ app (with the Plus). It would also show on the app tile in the smart hub. Depending on the age and exact model of your TV, Samsung TVs (and LG TVs) can have one or the other. It is unfortunately not user choice, but something agreed on by both the manufacturer and Apple. The edition of the ‘full’ Apple TV app would support buy-movies, while the specialized Apple TV+ app edition does not.

To add support for the full Apple TV app, when your TV’s smart apps get the specialized Apple TV+ app, you would need to add an external streaming device that has the full Apple TV app. That can be an Apple TV box, Roku, Fire TV, PlayStation (4, 5), Xbox (One, One S, X, S), ‘Chromecast with Google TV’-dongle, or Nvidia Shield TV box.
