MacBook Pro starts up with a black screen, cannot get into recovery mode
When I start up normally, the login screen is displayed. I enter my credentials, and I see the progress monitor increasing for a few seconds, then it makes that 'ping' sound and the screen goes black.
I've followed the steps at If your Mac starts up to a blank screen - Apple Support for a mac with an Apple silicon chip. However, I see no options displayed on the screen, so I'm not even able to get into the recovery mode.
Mac details in screenshot below. Any advice? I think it started acting up after a recent software update.
MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 14.5
