Touch bar won't light up but still working, laptop crashes and restarts after putting it to sleep after Sonoma 14.6.1 update
My Macbook Pro 2020 13" M1 was working fine until recently, either right before the Sonoma update or right after it (cannot recall properly). Namely, since then the touch bar disappears but still works when touched, and the laptop crashes if put to sleep by locking or the lid is closed.
I have tried all the remedies for the touch bar (terminal commands, killing processes in the activity monitor, etc.). The only one that seems to be working is starting the Mac in the safe boot after shutting down and waiting 30 seconds (it did not work only once in a few tries). After that, the touch bar appears, and it does not crash when put to sleep. However, after some use, the touch bar randomly disappears again, and the Mac crashes again when sleeping.
My guess is, since the problem does not appear in the safe boot, it is software-related, and, as mentioned previously, it probably coincides with the Sonoma update.
Here's the latest crash report that I received after laptop crashed when put to sleep and restarted (if it helps):
