Macbook Pro M3 Pro can't extend display on 2 extra monitors and Macbook's display.
I want to use my Macbook Pro with 3 different displays:
- Laptop's display
- Samsung external monitor
- Samsung external monitor
But the kind of display that I'm getting is one display on the laptop, and in the external displays I get the extended screen but mirrored in both of the external displays. As if I had two displays in total, but both of my external monitors worked as the second display. In simple terms, I see the same thing in both of my external displays.
What I see in settings is that I have the Built-in display (normal) and a secondary display, where the screen is extending. It is not showing any third display as it should be.
I have both of these external monitors connected to a USB-C hub through HDMI, I have the UGREEN Revodok Pro 210. I use this also for my job's laptop for the same purpose.
I've seen some similar cases in the community where the problems were:
- The Macbook Air doesn't support 2 external monitors. Not my case because I have a Macbook Pro.
- The USB-C Hub doesn't support 2 external monitors. Not my case because I use the same hub for my job's laptop (DELL) and it works perfectly. I made sure that the hub supported my 2 external monitors.
I can't seem to find the answer. How do I make my Macbook Pro recognize both of my external monitors as separate monitors, so that I can have the 3 displays that I want, and not 1 normal and 2 mirroring each other?
