Your account is locked. Try again in 1 hour; Apple M2 processor

Hi,

I am trying to login to my macbook pro with Apple M2 Pro processor. It gives me an error message

"Your account is locked. Try again in 1 hour". Although I give the right password it throws the same error message.

I have a Apple M2 processor so I tried to go to recovery mode (How to reinstall macOS - Apple Support) and go to startup options. But the startup options isn't showing up.

It doesn't show to reset the password. All I can see is on the top right there is language settings by default it sets to ABC-AZERTY. I tried to change it to ABC-India and provide my password but it doesn't work.

A help is much appreciated.
