help-Mac Mail rebuild in process with 30K emails, just started messages upload OVER!?

....recently needed to rebuild email on our MAC because it wasn't loading or working after getting MAC screen replaced. While the rebuild was processing I put Mac in sleep mode before bed last night and thought that the emails would keep rebuilding until done-but it started over back to 0 -when I just logged in this morning. At 5k loaded right now.

You will have to prevent sleeping in order to rebuild a mailbox. Otherwise, the connection will time out.

With that many e-mail messages, I recommend archiving them to an MBOX file. You can carry that file from computer to computer as you upgrade/migrate and re-import them. Only keep that last couple of years of e-mails on the server. That way, if you need to rebuild, there are far fewer e-mails to download.
