2023 MacBook Pro no longer charging with MagSafe, only charges with USB C

The computer is two months old and no longer charging with MagSafe cable....blinking orange. It will charge using USB C. Do I need to take it in for service?

Read If the indicator light flashes in If your MagSafe cable or power adapter isn't working - Apple Support. Follow all six steps before contacting Apple.

"If the indicator light continues to flash repeatedly, contact Apple."

Have you tried more than one MagSafe cable? That could be the problem. Else, I'd take it in for service.
