Apple TV media files
All my files are in the movies media folder but the don’t show up when you open the appletv app!

It doesn’t really matter where the files are. The TV app isn’t looking there.
The TV app Library is basically a database with links to files. You have to add the files to the Library, for the app to know about it.
You can use the menu option to add media to the Library, but many find it easier to use drag-and-drop.
