Invisible Home videos from iMac's Apple TV app on Apple TV box

Videos added to Home Videos on my iMac’s Apple TV app are invisible on the Apple TV box in the Computer file. Is there a file size limit? Only old videos transferred from iTunes are visible.

A thread from two years ago didn’t resolve this issue. I’d like more information.
