Cannot browse the Apple store for anything, because of the iPhone 16 pre-order

I cannot browse the Apple store app (not the App Store), for anything, because I have to wait until they unlock it when the pre-orders start for the new iPhone.

I am not interested in the new iPhone.

I cannot browse the website in Safari on my MacBook Pro. I would like to purchase something either from my iPhone, using the Apple store app (it's the light green one with the white Apple logo), not the App store blue icon one with the letter A or use the actual website using Safari on my Macbook.

I don't care about the iPhone 16.

Does anyone have any workaround? I hate when Apple do this.

I have submitted feedback via the feedback assistant app.

The Apple store app and website are available again now, and working normally.

The annoying part of the lock out is, I was looking at a Mophie powerbank and a charging cable.

I was having a look throughout the day and wanted to have a look again on my train trip home. 😁

The pre-orders started a week ago.

What happens when you click on "Store" (or one of the other options) in the menu bar at the top of the page?

Hi, Idris.

I thought of this. Jumped on my Macbook Pro thinking I could view the store on the website through Safari.

Nope, cannot view or do anything there either (even though the menu names are visible across the top).

I get the fact Apple wants the focus and hype around the new iPhone, but do they have to lock out their online store to customers who do not wish to pre-order a new iPhone?

I even tried Apple support through iMessage. That was next to useless. 🙄
