How do I connect my MacBook Air M2 2022 to two external monitors?

I need to hook up 2 x 27" Dell monitors to my MacBook M2 Air 2022. At present it is connected to one of these monitors using its HDMI port and is connected to the Air using a Satechi mini hub that has 1 port each of HDMI, USB-A and USB-C.

I suspect my MacBook Air only supports 1 external monitor. Is there a way to circumvent this - perhaps by connecting it to a display port on one monitor and the HDMI port on the other? I welcome any usable suggestion. Thanks heaps.

I believe that you can have one AirPlay display (e.g., a HDTV) or Sidecar display (iPad) on top of the one supported external monitor. AirPlay and Sidecar connections are not as good as hardware ones, and the quality (especially of an AirPlay connection) might, or might not, be something that you could live with.

There are third-party products that can drive extra displays – in a second-class way. This requires

A hub, dock, or adapter that has a "magic decoder ring" chip set
Matching software on your Mac

Such workarounds may involve various compromises.

The M2 MacBook Air only supports one external monitor. This was clearly outlined in the Technical Specifications that were available on Apple's site before you bought it.

There is no hub, dock, adapter, or software that can provide more first-class, hardware-supported display outputs. Nor will plugging in a second display in a different way magically circumvent the one-external-display limit.
