I placed the pre-order promptly this morning the moment the apple stored allowed. My card has already been charged and the order is now in "processing". Apple usually does not charge for payment until an order shipped. Can I assume my phone is shipping or very close to it and potentially will receive before the launch date on the 20th?

Also, not sure what country you are in but if you are in the US if you have an account with UPS or FedEx you can often see when info about your package once a label was created before you may receive an email or text from Apple about it officially shipping. In the past it’s how I would track movement of preorders seeing them travel through China and its various stops until it reached the US and then reached the UPS hub in Lexington KY then sit for several days (due to the shipping exceptions that Apple imposed) then usually the day before launch is when it starts moving again to reach your city/area distribution center and then of course loaded onto the truck that will deliver it to you.
Are you on the websites or apps? Assuming yours has had a label created already (even if it hasn’t moved yet) it should show if you are logged into your accounts and the order was placed using identifying info that would have it show under your accounts. If say they were ordered under a different name, address, or email address that isn’t associated with your accounts that could be by you wouldn’t see it. This happens with me from one specific company that ships products to me without my full last name…just the initial. So I have to manually add the tracking number to the account for the app/site to show its tracking.
Of course this all is assuming that a shipping label has been created….if your order had a later estimated delivery date then it may not have had a label created yet. This may be the case for those that ordered a little later on preorder day and started seeing dates after the 20th.
Yes, it all matches, but I was able to find it with the reference Number only issue is it doesn’t tell me where it is, but it does say that it will be here estimated on the 20th. I would like to know where it is but knowing that it is on the way is plenty lol. Thank you tho
My 16 pro shows tracking# already and ye it came from China to Alaska then now in Louisville, but the iphone 16 still showing " Preparing to Ship" i got this feeling that my order for iphone 16 will be delay. Both preorder at 5am Pacific time on 9/13/24.
Think they were saying they could see the tracking though they hadn’t received a tracking email from Apple yet. I ordered my iPhone on the 13th & could see tracking from AI on the 14th, though it doesn’t affect the 20th delivery date provided. It is indeed true. Pic below for reference.
Mine shipped this morning and says delivery date is scheduled for Sept 18.
The hold usually happens at the “super hubs”, not the regional distribution hubs. By the time they are moving to the distribution hubs it will be on the timetable it’s supposed to be for on time delivery.
Pre ordered on the 13th i have tracking info & the IMEI for the device. Says Estimated delivery on wednesday (18th) with the weight / dimensions of the package showing on the fedex tracking info. 🙃
I preordered as well and am tracking the package. I preordered at 930am on the 13th and ups is showing that only a label has been created I still have no estimated date of arrival just says it will ship on or before the 19th. How / when did you preorder to get yours so early?
Hello! I preordered the 16 Promax on September 13th at 8:08am. On Monday it said they were preparing to ship my order. Today is Wednesday and since Tuesday it now says, We're ready to ship your order with a ship date of Thursday September 19th and arrival by Friday September 20th. I confirmed this yesterday with an agent through my phone carrier which is AT&T, so I am going to trust Apple and AT&T. I hope yours ships soon!
My tracking numbers for two IPhone 16 pro max are on My UPS Choice and it shows 8:30am September 18th in Louisville Kentucky. Normally it would be out for delivery the next day, the 19th but it’s still saying delivery on the 20th. For some reason I don’t expect to receive it on the 19th.
Those of us that pre order thru apple and got a sept 20th delivery date thats not the case anymore 60% of sept 20th order were push back to oct 3rd to oct 8th thats the reason we havent recieved the tracking number also watch apple delete my post it happens when i am right.
I finally got a tracking info this morning for my iPhone 16 Pro through UPS and was emailed to me.I preordered on Sep.13th so people should be getting their tracking info today as well if you order is supposed to get here tomorrow Friday 9/20.
Consider yourselves lucky. I pre ordered mine at ATT on 9/15 after the rep told me I would have it before they are in stores on 9/20/24. My estimated SHIP DATE is 10/18/24. Pre ordering makes NO sense at this point.
Have you never preordered an electronic device? The devices are released to be in stores on the 20th BUT you won’t actually find them in stores that day preorders come first and each carrier will get an allotment. Kind of like when a video game console is released. First iPhone I preordered was the X waited 2 months after release to get it!
Apple really made these shippers sit on orders that was ready a whole week especially most used UPS and FEDEX and crazy thing is UPS playing dumb like they don't know why packages just sitting whole week with no movement what a couple days of getting it early gonna do this my last iphone pre order I will wait couple months after launch to get one my Samsung pre orders never do this. But back to UPS they got their tracking off only them can see it and my package is moving but not where I can see it I had to call UPS to know where my package at
