How can I make App Store ask for password when re-installing an app?

If I deleted an app but has the cloud with the arrow . And if I try to download it , it does not require a password. HOW can I take that off so when they try to download they require a password ??

I don’t think that such is supported. Once permitted is future permitted.

The remedy is not giving your unlocked iPad (or any device with your Apple ID) to anyone that might redownload this app.

You could try setting Restrictions through Settings﹥Screen Time﹥Content & Privacy Restrictions, which could disallow and hide a given app. That might work.
