Ask 6 digit passcode after restart instead of 4 that I set

I have set 4 digit passcode on iPhone 11 pro max but did not setup face unlock. It was working properly but when software version updated and my phone switched off due to not charging several days. I charged the phone and tried to restart it's ask for 6 digit passcode which did not set earlier.please support to resolve the issue.

Can’t change iPhone passcode – says incorrect code even though it unlocks the phone Hi, I’m having a strange issue with my iPhone 11 . I can unlock my phone normally using my current passcode, but when I try to change the passcode in Settings → Face ID & Passcode → Change Passcode, it says the passcode is incorrect. I’m 100% sure I’m entering the correct current code because it unlocks my device every time. I already tried restarting the iPhone, updating to the latest iOS version, and resetting all settings, but the problem still exists. Has anyone faced this issue before? Phone asking for passcode after restarting. I have a second phone I don’t use often but I do occasionally. The battery died on it and when I restarted it it asked me for a passcode which I don’t remember, I usually use Face ID to unlock it. How can I go about unlocking with faceid?

You can try the previous 6 digit passcode. It will work for 72 hours. Otherwise you will have to erase and restore the iPhone→My iPhone is disabled - Apple Community
