Ultra 2 which arm should it be on if i am right handed?

I am right handed however i want to make sure i get the most out of my watch. I saw on apple that they reccomend your watch should be on your non dominent wrist. Is this correct? Should i have it on my left wrist to get the most out of the sports tracking?

Which wrist? It doesn't matter.

It also doesn’t matter which way the buttons are oriented.

What does matter is that your Watch is set for whether it is on your left or right wrist, and whether the buttons are oriented left or right.

Wearing a heavy coat or gloves can influence which way the buttons work best without encountering spurious button presses from the sleeve or the gloves, as can whichever way the buttons oriented that’s easiest for you to use.

The watch, its sensors, and such are ambidextrous. Set it as you want it worn, and it all works. For those folks with a dominant hand, wearing it on the non-dominant wrist makes it easier to manipulate the controls, and possibly less likely to get slammed into something. Nothing more.

Wear it on the arm that it’s most comfortable. Try one arm and then the other. Just make sure you set the orientation of the Digital Crown correctly when you try each arm.

>>Switch wrists or Digital Crown orientation

If you want to move your Apple Watch to your other wrist or prefer the Digital Crown on the other side, adjust your orientation settings so that raising your wrist wakes your Apple Watch, and turning the Digital Crown moves things in the direction you expect.

  1. Open the Settings app  on your Apple Watch.
  2. Go to General > Orientation.

You can also open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, tap My Watch, then go to General > Watch Orientation.<<
